Wired Oregon just finished our first client project, a complete website redesign for Direct Placement LLC.

We also just began an online marketing campaign, including social media marketing, for Mazzi's Italian restaurant in Eugene.

I am executive editor and co-owner of Wired Oregon, a site that seeks out the untold stories of our state's people and places. I'm acting as small business owner, web designer, writer, editor and photographer, which has been a lot of fun.

The goal is to build Wired Oregon into a full-service online media provider. We've got a network of professional journalists and are offering web design and maintenance, online and social marketing, writing, photography, video, copy editing, consulting, ad and PR work and design projects. I'm really excited to see where it goes.

Lastly, I'm working my way back into writing. Before taking a desk job as a newspaper designer, copy editor and systems administrator, I was a sports reporter. I found that I've missed writing, so I've begun working as a blogger and freelancer. I've written a bit for Wired Oregon and I've been freelancing for Demand Media, Associated Content and Suite101.
